Nollywood in the breaking.Part 2

In continuation from part 1,this probably would not be of any relevance and is not necessarily streamlined.
Now i need someone kind enough to put me in the right educated frame of mind, in relation to our great Nigeria's growth in the entertainment world.
So someone, sent me a URL viewing clips on "Utube" on a Nigerian under sexed musician (????Obesere) who for entertainment sake had to use the services of 3 local/natives(females THANK GOD) dressed up in some weird baby doll (???sexy) garments as performing kangaroos(insults to the specie! and apologies to the Kangaroos, obviously) on stage supposedly entertaining an audience. In claiming to be some form of an entertainer, is that the best our people can do?
Now in mixing the Nigerian culture and that of the western world, may i seize this great opportunity to educate our great people (Nigerians). We do not have to strip to our barest minimals, in the name of entertainment.
It is so appallingly sickening to see our people descend so low, in the name of fun.Fun???? No! i don't think so.
Till we Nigerians get it through our heads, that there other dignified ways of making statements of what a great people we once where, we stand no chance in moving forward.
What exactly happened with our pride in wanting to be one of the most educated people in Africa?
Look around you, and singularly point out an"honest"Nigerian dignitary we can put on a pedestal, to look up to as a roll model.
In the Nigerian entertainment industry we had the likes of Bassy Okon, Zebrudiah, Greengory,Clarius etc, and they really did make people honestly laugh from the bottom of their hearts. Now that is what i call decent, clean, respectable, entertainment.

We have actresses like Patti Boulaye from Nigeria, who is truly an international star. These are the calibre of performers we should really and truly be looking at as role models or seek their mentorship.
I sound very critical of Nigeria but not for the sake of hatred, only overwhelmed with the embarrassment of the crap that is continuously dished out. All in the name of entertainment.
The real root of this, stems from the current increased percentage of poverty in Nigeria and as an African,we do like entertainment.
It seems like easy money, quick turnover but the quality, story lines, calibre of actors, etc are very mediocre and lacking growth.
I'll give it a break for now. I watched a Nigerian comedy (Osoufia in Lon........!!!!)Hahaha. Needless to say i enjoyed it. Now i feel another issue coming up sooooooooon!!
