So the Nigerian film industry wish to compete with the likes of Bollywood.Furthermore,Hollywood? I don't think so.
Lets be realistic not in this day and age. Yes! Nigeria producers are churning the films out at an unmeasurable rate.
The way i see it is, it's alright trying to break into the film industry but at what/whoms expense. The actors and actresses are crap. The English is embarrassingly painful to listen to. The most annoying and embarrassing part, is the actors portrayal of our culture.
They (majority of them) have the worst acting skills and feel they can compare themselves with the UK and American even the Indian (Bollywood) film industry.
I beg to differ.I actually started watching Nigerian films by chance. I visited a friend I'd not seen for years and she tried to entertain her long lost friend with a Nigerian film.
Out of respect for her feelings and effort which i appreciated, i put myself through the agony of watching this film.
The dramatics, lighten, sound track, delivery and not to mention the acting was so one of the most gruesome mimicry of production, acting, entertainment as a whole. It was so bad i failed to see the entertainment value other than complete criticism.
It was so bad Simon Cowell (American,Pop idol) would not have the vocabulary to describe it.
It wouldn't get an audition yet, some these so called actors/actresses claimed to have studied abroad.
Anyway Ghana,Mali,Bukina faso etc....., according to some Nigerians is classed as abroad. After all they flew (international air space) there.
Then the Ghanian acting is yet another Joke, however they beat us at football.Like i wish to believe that they cheated.
I mean 4-1 to them. I had to tell my daughter that if she got teased at school about the shameful lose we (Nigerians) endured;there is a simple answer.
Answer/Reason:the Ghanian's threw kenke and shito with fresh fish (Tilapia) onto the pitch. You know Nijja's love their food. Of course the food was More important than football. So each time the Nijja's went for the food the Ghanian tricksters were giving away (FREE),smart Ghanians footballers would score.
Remember also that it is Ghana 50th independence anniversary, this is our (Nigeria's) Birthday present to them.
Happy Birthday to them.

Why are Nigerian politicians the most stupid of all?
I started this blog out of complete annoyance. I would one day love to go home to Nigeria and forget about this rat race in the UK. Here is the deal,in being realistic after living in such an organized country for so long whom in his/her correct senses would pack up everything here and go and live in Nigeria (God's own Country).
We have a failing society where there is lack of an organisational structure in anything at all.
Starting from basic amenities/facilities like drainage systems in preparation for the raining season,a structured educational system where there is follow through for the future, project plans and continuity for the progress of a once Great Nigeria.
I don't even know where to start or finish in respect of issues relating to the progress of the Nigerian masses.
What really gets up my nostrils, is the fact that these so called Nigerian Politicians, actually visit the Western world and have been educated in some form by the Western world. They can see how things are done here.
I beg of someone to please Educate me as to why these politicians and so called leaders cannot take examples from the structure in the western world to help develop our Country?
I would like to know what i am missing here.
Think about it people, do we have a health system in Nigeria, look at the National Health service here in the UK. What have we got to compare with in Nigeria.
Need i say More?
I will leave you to chew on this....
Please someone tell me what i am missing.
